Process introduction

The CKB lithium battery recycling process realizes the safe crushing and separation of waste lithium batteries by using the waste heat flue gas from the cement kiln to obtain copper, iron, aluminum and polar powder materials. The separated polar powder recovers valuable metals through dissolution, crystallization and other methods to realize the full recycling of resources.





Preheating furnace

● Use the waste gas at the end of cement kiln, effectively utilize the waste gas resources, and reduce the operation cost.

● In low oxygen environment, evaporate the electrolyte, and realize automatic and batch unmanned disassembly.

● The waste gas is sent to the cement kiln for high-temperature decomposition, and there is no waste gas treatment facility investment and operation cost.

Roasting kiln

● Effectively utilize the waste gas resources at the end of the cement kiln, with low operation cost.

● Externally heated rotary kiln, calcined at high temperature, and the waste gas is sent to the cement kiln for high-temperature decomposition.

● The jacket waste heat and gas are sent to the AQC boiler of the cement plant for power generation to realize the comprehensive utilization of resources.



Pure water dissolution

● Pure water and carbon dioxide are added to dissolve lithium, without chemicals, and clean production.

● Recycle process water to reduce water consumption and production costs.

● Efficient extraction of nickel, cobalt and manganese mixture with high recovery rate.

Two-level proposal

● Two-stage purification to produce battery grade lithium carbonate with purity of more than 99.5%.

● MVR uses waste heat steam from cement kiln to reduce energy consumption and operation cost.

● No wastewater discharge, clean production.
